Scenic Strolls in the Candover Valley

The villages of the Candover Valley are very fortunate in being surrounded by beautiful countryside. In 1990 Fred Osgood, the then Preston Candover and Nutley Parish Clerk and well known village ‘character’, compiled and published a booklet of seven local round walks.

Click on the links below to access and print detailed directions and a map for each walk.

Walk 1 – The Upper Wield Walk (7 miles)

Walk 2 – The Lower Wield Walk (7 miles)

Walk 3 – The Chilton Candover Walk (7 miles)

Walk 4 – The Bradley Walk (7 miles)
