The Basingstoke and District Agricultural Society will be holding its annual ploughing match on Saturday, 5 October, at Manor Farm, Woodmancott. Spectators are welcome and anyone interested in farming and the countryside should go along to see local farmers demonstrating their ploughing skills on large commercial tractors, as well as on vintage models (pre-1960) and other classic tractors.  Ploughing will start at 8.00 am and continue through until about mid-day.
