In anticipation of a possible relaxation in the Covid-19 restrictions during March, the Rector, Rev. David Chattell, and Associate Rector, Rev. Stephen Mourant, have drawn up a draft programme of church services in the Valley for Holy Week and immediately thereafter. The programme is anticipatory at this stage and subject to change and the timings of services have yet to be finalised.
“We are still torn as to what to do when March arrives and the weather gets warmer; and making allowance for the uncertainty if we can have services inside or out still, we would like the maximum number of people to meet to worship when they are ready,” said Mr Mourant.
“If it is possible to have Holy Week services this year, we will be concurring with all church wardens up and down the valley to ascertain when will be the right time to re-start public worship.
“The draft programme at least gives some information and, maybe, we will be back together sooner rather than later,” he said.
