Uncertainty over the impact locally of the new tiered system of restrictions to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, means that there will not be a midnight communion service at any of the churches in the Candover Valley on Christmas Eve. For the first time in many years it has become necessary to suspend the service. The possibility of a significant rise in the number of new cases in the area, leading to late changes in restrictions and what it is possible to do, coupled with the difficulties of ensuring safe use of the church facilities, even to the extent of limiting the numbers attending, have contributed to the situation. However, there are services on Christmas Day in several churches.
See below for full details of services in December and January at churches in the Candover Valley, apart from St Peter’s at Brown Candover which is closed while undergoing roof repairs. Please note you will need Adobe acrobat reader to open the files.
